Aptar Beauty was selected as the preferred pump supplier for its L’Art & La Matière exclusive collection of comprises fragrances, extracts and personal care products.
Sensea for fragrances
Aptar’s Sensea fragrance pump was selected for all 100ml references in the core L’Art & La Matière collection, including the latest Patchouli Paris Eau de Parfum, and all six 50ml references of Les Extraits Signature, Guerlain’s most concentrated fragrances.
The line also features a 20ml refillable travel spray, the Flacon Sac, which uses Aptar Beauty’s VP4 cartridge, optimized for gentle actuation with a High Definition Spray (HDS) insert.
The L’Art & La Matière fragrances are refillable in store, while the travel spray can be refilled at home.
“Sensea’s soft and gentle actuation was the deciding factor for Guerlain, as it guarantees a fine, homogeneous spray at a wide, 60-degree angle. This screw-on pump ensures easy reloading on all references,” said Aptar Beauty.
The fragrance pumps and collars are manufactured and assembled at Aptar Beauty’s Le Neubourg facility in France. All components are anodized in gold, with Guerlain’s double G monogram carefully engraved on the top of the actuator.
GSA for personal care products
For its part, the collection of scented hand and body lotions and soaps is dispensed by Aptar’s GSA pump, which is made at Aptar Beauty’s Chieti facility in Italy. Its actuation technology creates a metal-free pathway to avoid contact between metal parts and the formula, for optimum formula compatibility and integrity.
According to Aptar, the screw-on, twist-to-lock pump makes refilling easy, while the collar is anodized in gold for a premium look consistent with the rest of the collection.
“Our wide range of technologies is designed to cover all brands’ needs. This collaboration perfectly demonstrates the synergy between our manufacturing sites, as well as our ability to adapt our dispensing solutions to meet the exacting standards of luxury houses,” commented Anne Dupé, Key Account Manager at Aptar Beauty EMEA.
