National Garden Bureau (NGB) aims to make life easier for the horticulture industry to promote and inspire consumers. NGB has created, and is making available, on-point marketing tools to help the industry promote the 2025 “Year of the” crops. These tools are designed to allow all to reap the rewards from this national marketing campaign.

The 2025 NGB ‘Year Of’ Featured Plants Are:

  • Perennial: Asclepias
  • Bulb: Caladium
  • Annual: Calendula
  • Flowering Shrub: Dogwood
  • Houseplant: Monstera
  • Edible: Pea

2025 ‘Year of the’ Marketing Tools Include:

  • Custom, hand-painted logos
  • Pre-written social media posts
  • Hundreds of photos of all six crops
  • PowerPoint presentations including photos
  • “Did You Know” presentations and graphics
  • Printable posters
  • 8” x 10” printable signs
  • Fact sheets in PDF format

Additionally, all six web pages featuring consumer-friendly gardening information and fun facts are now live, providing the industry with links to help educate and inspire consumers to use these six plant genera.

Extensive consumer promotion begins in early January 2025 to help drive sales to retail outlets.
