This time around, though, they’ve already slipped down the lists, which is a surprise. The reigning authors of the bestseller lists may not be keeping their thrones for long.
There’s only one new title to report in this roundup, and at a glance, you might mistake it for a new romantasy book. It’s actually the 10th-anniversary edition of the historical fiction book The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, which is a deluxe version with sprayed edges and a ribbon bookmark.
It’s worth noting that lists that include children’s books, especially USA Today, are overflowing with Easter and spring kids’ books this week, like The Very Hungry Caterpillar’s Easter Egg Hunt. Because they’re separated into their own lists by The New York Times and Indie Bestsellers, they don’t have much of a chance of making this roundup.
